Wolfie will step down

Wolfowitz, who is Bush's wonder boy at the World Bank, is going to resign June 30.  I don't know why he's waiting.  I call him a "wonder boy" because everyone wonders what he's doing there.

Alberto Gonzales, Bush's wonder boy in the Justice Department, is still f@#king around, the way Wolfie did.  I think he figured that he could just brazen it out, but the longer he stays, the more bad stuff is going to come out about him.  As far as I'm concerned, Gonzales' tossing the Geneva Convention out is enough to get him fired.

The recent story about him rushing to Ashcroft's sickbed so he could twist the sick man's arm doesn't help him at all.  This is a man with no soul, no foresight, no concept of the rule of law, no respect for the Constitution.  Like most of Bush's appointees, he has no qualifications for his position.

The only good thing about Gonzales hanging around like a bad fishy smell is that Bush has to keep defending him, although that defense gets ever more vague.  Eventually, when Gonzales has slink off, Bush will look like even more of an ass than he does already.
