I found this picture quite by accident when I was looking for a photo of the statue I described in an earlier post.   It's strange that this came up.  I knew nothing about her before today... I just liked the picture, which is a drawing of a statue.

After reading the wikipedia article about her life, I was astounded.  I don't expect people in the Middle Ages to get around so much, to married and divorced several times, and so on.

I'm going to read more about her.
