Why does this news make me so angry?  I guess because that willful fool Bush can do crap like this and get away with it.  I guess Dubya was frustrated when his pal Kenny Boy was in jail.  I'm sure he wanted to pardon Lay, give him the Medal of Honor, and then sleep with him in the Lincoln Bedroom.  So he just had to rear back and commute Libby's sentence.   He couldn't stop himself.  "There but for the grace of my constant lies," he must have told himself thoughtfully.

I'm sure that he and Cheney have a deal, that whoever goes to jail first will pardon the other.

If there is a god in heaven, if there is justice on earth, Bush and Cheney will slink out of the White House in disgrace before 2008.
